The Lewis County Board of Education will be accepting bids on diesel fuel. Bid forms containing specifics can be found under district news or archived news on the district’s website at www.lewis.kyschools.us, the bus garage at 55 Old Lock 32 Spur; Vanceburg, KY, or at the district board office at 251 Lions Lane; Vanceburg, KY. Bid forms must be placed in a sealed envelope with “DF-2024” written on the front of the envelope. Bids must be received by 2:00 PM Tuesday June 4, 2024 at the Lewis County Board of Education: PO Box 159, 251 Lions Lane, Vanceburg, KY. 41179. Bids will be reviewed at the June 10, 2024 board meeting, they will be approved or denied.
Buffalo Trace Area Development District, in partnership with the Lewis County Fiscal Court, is conducting a survey of Lewis County residents to help identify what barriers prevent people from accessing and/or using the internet. Funds have been made possible by Connect Humanity to conduct this study. Information collected will be useful in determining what actions can be taken to assist residents with accessing and using the internet.
